15 inches of snow in Aspen/Snowmass today, but work prevailed. I did have a glorious day hiking and skiing HIghland Bowl on Sunday with 9 inches of fresh and glorious sunshine. To top it off, a generous hiker was mixing delectable frozen margaritas atop the bowl for the 40 + adventurers to share. Mac Smith, head of Aspen HIghlands patrol was handing out 50th anniversary pins to those who braved chilly gusty winds to get fresh turns. A quick lunch at Andreas Fischbacher's Cloud Nine Alpine bistro ended the day nicely.
